Wellness Program
Siete Leguas Equine Veterinary Services (SLEVS) is now offering a Wellness Program to provide preventive health care for your horse. Keeping a healthy horse starts with routine wellness exams. Our Wellness Program is designed to maintain the optimal health of your horse and minimize frightening and costly emergencies.
Regular health care can help to detect problems before they become more serious. Routine examinations, vaccinations, deworming, and dental care are important for maintaining the peak performance of your horse. Our program packages these vital components of preventive health care in three visits per year at a reduced cost to the owner. Read about the importance of preventive health care for your horse at www.americashealthyhorse.com .
Owners may choose a Wellness Program Package based on two deworming protocols: bimonthly paste dewormer or daily dewormer. The daily Strongid C2X dewormer provides more thorough parasite prevention and can also qualify your horse for the Pfizer Preventicare Program. This is a free program that pays up to $5000 toward colic surgery should your horse need it. Please call our clinic for more details on this program.
The details of each package are listed below so you can choose the package and services that best suit the needs of you and your horse. Please feel free to call our clinic for more details or if you have any questions.
